Haley is a recent graduate from Liberty University, earning a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling. Haley genuinely values the relationships formed between all of her clients, and provides therapy for individuals (children, teens and adults), couples and families.
She works with her clients on a range of life’s hardest challenges, such as stress management, depression, anxiety, conflicts with life, relationships and love, parental and family issues, trauma, faith and spirituality and so much more. She holds tightly to the saying, whatever you bring to the counseling room, we will work it out together! Haley loves encouraging her clients, finding the positive in very difficult situations, and helping her clients become the best, happiest and healthiest versions of themselves possible. She often uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution Focused Therapy, Goal Setting and the practice of meditation and reflection in her counseling sessions with a Christian perspective when appropriate. With her younger clients, she loves to incorporate play and creativity into the therapy sessions, using hands on learning tools and activities together.
Haley strives for her office to be a place where clients can sit and enjoy a coffee/water, find a bit of a break from the day while being heard and understood, encouraged and challenged! Outside of the counseling room, Haley enjoys hanging out with her husband and 3 young kids, spending lots of active time outside, tending to her plants, and enjoying good food and drinks with friends and family!
