Jessie received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University. Jessie serves adults and older teenagers and has a particular interest in eating disorders, and she is working toward becoming a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist with the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals. Jessie also has clinical experience in the areas of obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, developmental trauma, anxiety, panic disorder, depression, and grief/loss. As a Christian counselor, she provides Christ-centered care in a safe, nonjudgmental environment and believes that everyone has the ability to experience personal growth and healing. Jessie tends to work from Person-Centered, Cognitive-Behavioral, and Solution-Focused treatment modalities while also remaining flexible to adapt to each individual’s unique needs.
