We're excited that you chose KCC to provide your counseling services!

As a KCC client, we expect you to attend sessions scheduled with your therapist unless you are sick (we don't want those germs) or if there is an emergency. Regular attendance is necessary in order for the therapy to be effective.

We kindly ask that you provide us with a 24-hour notice if you cannot keep your scheduled appointment. Our offices are open 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. A Monday appointment must be cancelled before noon the preceding Friday. A $60 missed appointment fee will be charged if proper notice is not provided.

If you have an appointment and do not show up or do not provide 24 hours notice, you will be subject to a $60 missed appointment fee. This fee is waived for Medicaid and NC Health Choice clients in compliance with NC laws. For these clients, if three appointments are missed or cancelled without proper notice, you will no longer been seen at our agency. We will be happy to provide referrals to other agencies if needed.
