Ella (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) with a master’s degree in social work from the joint program offered by UNC-Greensboro and NC A&T State University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from UNC-Greensboro in 2023.
Ella has experience working with children, adolescents, and families across a variety of clinical and community settings. She has provided treatment for clients navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, behavioral challenges, identity formation, grief and loss, relationship concerns, and more. Her approach is rooted in empathy and cultural humility, drawing from modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing, strength-based therapy, child-centered play therapy techniques, and mindfulness-based interventions. She believes therapy is not one-size-fits-all and works collaboratively with clients to tailor treatment to their individual needs and goals. Ella takes a holistic approach to care, recognizing the importance of biological, social, cultural, and environmental factors in shaping a client’s overall well-being.
Ella strives to create a safe, inclusive, and nonjudgmental space where individuals from all backgrounds feel valued and heard. Ella is passionate about helping clients build resilience, process difficult experiences, and develop coping tools that support healing and growth while fostering a genuine therapeutic relationship along the way.
