Victoria is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate through the North Carolina Board of Licensed Professional Counselors. She received her undergraduate degree from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro in Family and Child Development and went on to receive her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro as well.
She has clinical experience working with individuals of all ages, from early childhood to later adulthood in the areas of anxiety, depression, sexual and physical violence/abuse, trauma, PTSD, career counseling, sexuality counseling, grief/loss counseling, behavioral concerns, spirituality and Faith, relationship concerns, LGBTQ+ concerns, couple counseling, self-harm and thoughts of hurting one’s self, and anger management. Victoria strives to honor all backgrounds, values, and identities and to provide a safe, accepting, and non-judgmental space for her clients.
She enjoys empowering her clients and tends to work from Person-Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy orientations while striving to personalize the counseling experience to each individual’s needs. She is passionate about promoting healing, self-acceptance, and wholeness and helping each client find peace within themselves and their lives. Victoria also provides EMDR counseling and TF-CBT.
